Ever Banega and Ezequiel Lavezzi are among the new faces in the Albiceleste squad...

The Argentine FA have released the list of players who will dispute Argentina's friendly against Ireland in Dublin on August 11.

The Albiceleste are currently without a coach, after last night's news that Diego Maradona's ties with the national team will not be renewed. Youth coach and assistant Sergio Batista will take the reins in Dublin against Giovanni Trapattoni's Ireland side. The official press release however confirms that this squad was in fact selected by Maradona before leaving. The squad is composed solely of European-based players, and none of the World Cup players based on that continent have lost their place. Interesting inclusions into the Seleccion include young Valencia midfielder Ever Banega, Real Madrid's Fernando Gago and Napoli sharpshooter Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Full Squad:

Goalkeepers: Sergio Romero, Mariano Andujar.

Defenders: Martín Demichelis, Walter Samuel, Nicolas Burdisso, Gabriel Heinze, Fabricio Coloccini, Emiliano Insua, Pablo Zabaleta.

Midfielders: Angel Di Maria, Maxi Rodriguez, Javier Mascherano, Jonas Gutierrez, Mario Bolatti, Javier Pastore, Jesus Datolo, Fernando Gago, Ever Banega.

Forwards: Sergio Aguero, Carlos Tevez, Gonzalo Higuain, Lionel Messi, Diego Milito, Ezequiel Lavezzi.
